Every yr for the past 25 plus years, I have organised what has been referred to as "deer camp" during the first few days of gun period, for my sons, my nephew, and some of these friends from college. Normally, when you imagine "camp" it evokes pictures of tents, sleeping bags, campfires, and no running water-unless you will find there's nearby stream. This kind of camp is my home, complete with big screen Television and full sized billiard table. The group has evolved over the years, but some of the procedures remain constant. Among those is the annual practice of pulling out scrapbooking projects with the pictures of deer bagged in previous many years.

Pictures are labeled: "My 1st deer," "Biggest buck of year," "Most typical tray," "Farthest drag,In . etc. As the photos are viewed, each years hunt is were recalled in great detail by all who had been involved. Each picture evokes feelings in the excitement of the hunt and the comaraderie of the class. For the past few years, a fresh wrinkle has been additional. They bring any memory stick of pictures obtained on their electronic digital hunting cameras. Since many of the guys are in other parts of the state, they share pictures of the deer on their home where they ribbon and bow hunt.

Another of their yearly rituals is to use the pc to print any topographical map or airborne photograph of the looking area. Then they bring out colored markers as well as mark the spot wherever each deer was harvested in previous years. Reddish markers indicate money, yellow for will. Green dots indicate sightings but no success. Again, the testimonies of these unsuccessful hunts are retold-too far away, simply no clear, safe chance, wanted to wait for a sale, or just plain skipped.

In addition to all the even now images shared from deer camp, there is always nighttime of video watching. My sons possess spent a lot of time within the woods taping to get a TV Hunting Show. Hours of video clip is edited to make the 22 minutes required for an episode. It will always be an evening of excitement to determine a hunt, unedited, from start to finish.

While you may not have that much time to spend within the woods, it is now easy to record your own video with motion indicator cameras similar to the electronic digital scouting cameras that will record still photos. You can set you guessed it-your camera, shoot the video clip, and share with relatives and buddies or on internet sites such as YouTube. Turn invisible Cam produces a camera with a 168 degree extensive angle lens that will records in hd. Game Spy carries a nighttime video camera along with whiteflash illumination for far better nighttime images of deer movement.

Whatever format you ultimately choose, whether digital flash pictures, digital ir photos, or High definition video, reliving those activities and sharing along with friends is an pleasurable way to spend evenings in deer camp.
